In 2023, Future Film Festival is partnering with Eco Events, the company that certifies the environmental impact of Italian film festivals. In line with their protocol, FFF will implement concrete actions such as using recycled paper and cardboard, forging relationships with sustainable partners, encouraging public transport or electric vehicles/bikes, dematerializing the ticket office, developing eco-responsible promotional items, and promoting separate waste collection.

For its 23rd edition, Future Film Festival will host a workshop for Italian festivals around sustainability organised by Eco Events, in collaboration with AFIC, the Italian Association of Film Festivals.
