Five<br \/>\nintense days of screenings, events, and workshops for both the general public and the industry professionals.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>All the Winners of the 2025 Edition<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>International Feature Film Competition<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>First Prize<br \/>\n<\/strong><em>The Great History of Western Philosophy<\/em><br \/>\n(Aria Covamonas, Mexico, 2025, Italian premiere)<br \/>\nAppreciated for its wild creativity, irreverent humor, and excellent technical craftsmanship, which combines visual art and craftsmanship with an overwhelming rhythm. The award was collected by Camilla Uboldi, the Italian producerof the film.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Second Prize<br \/>\n<\/strong><em>(S)Kids<\/em><br \/>\n(Lea Solis, Canada, 2024)<br \/>\nFor its original blend of animation and comics, its overwhelming musical energy, and its ability to express emotions and youthful discomfort with irony.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Special Mention<br \/>\n<\/strong><em>Clarice\u2019s Dream<\/em><br \/>\n(Fernando Guti\u00e9rrez and Guto Bicalho, Brazil, 2024)<br \/>\nPraised for its refined art direction, the expressiveness of the characters, and the intense delicacy with which it tells the story.<\/p>\n<p><strong>International Short Film Competition<\/p>\n<p>First Prize<br \/>\n<\/strong><em>Autokar<\/em><br \/>\nSylwia Szki\u0142\u0105d\u017a, Belgium, France, 2025)<br \/>\nPraised for its delicate and imaginative aesthetic in depicting the perspective of a young girl traveling alone on a long journey.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Second Prize<br \/>\n<\/strong> <em>The Threshold<\/em><br \/>\n(Walter Restelli, Italy, 2024)<br \/>\nFor direction worthy of the best horror films and an interesting visual style where music is an integral part of the storytelling.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Special Mention<br \/>\n<\/strong><em>Wander to Wonder<\/em><br \/>\n(Nina Gantz, Netherlands, 2024)<br \/>\nFor its excellent art direction, photography, meticulous animation, and extraordinarily expressive style.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ABABO Special Award &#8211; Jury of Students from the Academy of Fine Arts of Bologna<\/strong><br \/>\nThe jury, consisting of Elena Pesaresi, Giada Balzano, Jeremy Baggieri, Finn Caruso, and Aleksandra Julia Slowik, awarded the short film <em>Autokar<\/em>, confirming the positive judgment on its originality and attention to animation, as well as the message the film conveys.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hera Green Future Prize<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>Pig that Survived Foot-and-mouth Disease<\/em><br \/>\n(Hur Bum-Wook, South Korea, 2024)<br \/>\nAppreciated for its ambiguously hybrid visual style.<\/p>\n<p><strong>International New Frontiers Competition<\/strong><br \/>\nIn collaboration with Cineca Visit Lab<\/p>\n<p><strong>First Prize<br \/>\n<\/strong><em>MAX Q<\/em><br \/>\n(Joel Benjamin, USA, 2024, VR Game)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Second Prize<br \/>\n<\/strong><em>Desastres de la Guerra<\/em><br \/>\n(Victor Morales, USA, 2025, VR Game)<\/p>\n<p><strong>International Series Competition<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>Woolly Woolly<\/em><br \/>\n(Emmanuel Linderer, Canada, France, 2025)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The 24FRAME Future Film Fest 2025 brought the best of international animation to Bologna, Italy, from the Oscar-winning Flow, to the 30th anniversary of Toy Story, including experimental and indie works, as well as major Korean anime creators.
