TRIBUTE TO ITALO CALVINO on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Italo Calvino. Presentation of the graphic novel The Baron in the Trees by Sara Colaone (Mondadori, 2023) with Sara Colaone.
Followed by THE NON-EXISTENT KNIGHT by Pino Zac (Italy, 1970) 97′ restored version. In collaboration with CSC – Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia and Cinecittà. The Nonexistent Knight is a mixed media film, which combines real actors and animated characters, using the stop-motion technique for filming. The film is inspired by Calvino’s 1959 novel of the same name.
