Future Film Kids Lab – Making TV ADD SOUND TO A CARTOON

Wednesday 21 September 2022 Workshop by Laura Agnusdei, CEMI Bologna Topics: the acoustic wave; using technologies to recreate an infinite number of sound spaces; reverb and its main parameters (decay/ stereo/ dry-wet); delay and its main parameters (delay time/ feedback/ dry-wet); microphones (especially dynamic microphones) and the use of computers (specifically the Ableton Live software). At the end of the workshop, the participants will add sound to a cartoon using noises, dialogue, or music. Everyone will record their own sounds, deciding together where to use reverb and/or delay and with which microphones. It will all be synchronized with the video by the teacher, and at the end the cartoon will be ready for viewing. Ticket: 3 EUR per child. Maximum 15 participants * in case of bad weather, the workshop will be held at Costarena, via Azzo Gardino 48.
