LAMYA’S POEM

by Alexander Kronemer, USA/Canada, 2021, 88' Original version with Italian subtitles The film tells the magical story of the Persian poet Rumi, who lived in the 13th century. A young war refugee, Rumi must find a new home. His search intersects in time and space with the story of another child living during the war. Lamya, a modern-day Syrian child, is fleeing her country's humanitarian catastrophe. While Lamya's harrowing journey continues, she feels a growing connection to Rumi's book of poems. The film presents an interesting work between graphic novel, painting, 2D and 3D animation. Entrance with ticket, pass and accreditation
