The New Frontiers competition returns to the 25th edition of 24Frame Future Film Festival with a powerful selection of AR, VR, and 360° works from across the globe.

🎬 The very best of global animation is coming to Bologna!

This year’s 25th edition of 24Frame Future Film Festival presents a bold and diverse international competition, featuring animated feature films from across the world — including several Italian premieres. A journey through visual storytelling, unique techniques, and powerful narratives, with the chance to meet some of the filmmakers in person.

From April 9 to 13, the Small Lounge at 24Frame Future Film Festival becomes a window onto the world of contemporary animation, hosting a curated selection of animated short films in competition from across the globe.

From April 9 to 13,  audiences will have the chance to explore the creative world of Yumi Karasumaru, the artist behind the official artwork of the 2025 Festival.

Her solo exhibition, titled “CHA CHA CHA, CON I GIOCATTOLI”, will be open daily from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Open Stage.

The 24th edition of the 24FRAME Future Film Fest has successfully concluded. The three intense and stimulating days in Modena marked the end of an edition full of events, screenings, and guests of great interest, all warmly welcomed by a large audience.
